New Announcement Ability

I am trying an intermediate method by which announcements can be posted online. The cool part of this is, I can open it up so that people can post comments to the site via e-mail. In fact, that’s how I posted this announcement today. Ultimately I can make it all self-contained (this solution makes use of the Blogger service) using techniques I’ve learned in class… but there never seems to be enough time to implement these things.

In other news, yesterday 7/20/06, workers were replacing STG’s roof when a freak thundershower came and totally drenched them all. The downside is, at the time, there was no protection over the rear portion of the building’s roof and so lots and lots of water entered the building. Unfortunately we had to cancel that night’s performance of Godspell and a bunch of people gathered together to help clean up. Hopefully tonight we’ll be back in business!
