This lighthearted contest winner takes a look at three carloads of young adults at an outdoor theatre. There's a shy boy whose swaggers and rumblings are achingly funny, on his first date with a rather more experienced girl. There are three guys out on the town who playfully thrive on the fringe of youthful friskiness. There are two girls, dateless, finding an amusing openness about their relationships or lack thereof. They all share the aches, pains and joys of growing up a uniquely American coming of age.
