Southside Sidekicks Improv

Step into the spontaneous world of the Southside Sidekicks, an improv comedy troupe bringing unscripted fun to the stage with every performance. With no scripts and no rehearsed lines, these quick-thinking performers create scenes, characters, and stories on the fly—guided by audience suggestions and pure imagination. For those new to improv, expect an engaging, fast-paced show where laughter is inevitable and surprises are part of the experience. It’s comedy without a roadmap, and the Southside Sidekicks are always ready to take the leap.

Adult Improv Workshop

About the Workshop

Our improv classes are designed for everyone—from curious beginners to seasoned performers. Through a series of interactive games and group activities, you’ll build confidence, sharpen communication skills, and discover the joy of spontaneous storytelling.

Participants will explore The 5 Goals of Improv:

  • Be A Team Player
  • Be Accepting
  • Be Affected
  • Be Believable
  • Be a Story-Teller

All workshops celebrate individuality, with one guiding principle: Be Yourself. Whether you’re a teacher, business professional, performer, or just someone who loves to laugh, this workshop offers creative growth in a relaxed, supportive setting. We encourage you to attend all sessions, but we understand life happens—come as often as you can.

Join the fun this August with improv veteran and professional actor Lenton Lees, who leads our Adult Improv Workshops. With years of experience directing both youth and adult teams, Lenton brings a welcoming, collaborative approach that nurtures creativity for all experience levels. Questions or ideas? Reach him at lentonlees@gmail.com.
