Larry Shue's hilarious comedy "The Nerd" is a modern farce of mistaken identities, answering machines, and the strains of modern friendships and romance. An architect's ordinary life is suddenly disrupted by an old Vietnam army buddy who comes to live with him and turns out to be a real "nerd."
